The implementation of any new network layout will requires effective understanding towards the network requirements. The conducted interview, supplied system requirements and floor plan shows the importance of this proposal. This presented proposal to Priority Advertising shows the device selection, their costs, and implementation as per budget.

Introduction

The network layout to Priority Advertising is proposed and this new layout will handle the new and existing operational requirements supplied in interview and requirement gathering are effectively analyzed. The logical implementation presented above also shows the handling capabilities of this new network layout.

The effective use of IP addresses and their sub-netting is also presented in this work. The proposal shows the required costing and device specifications to the top authorities of Priority Advertising organization.

Activity 1

The Priority Advertising (PA) is medium size organization which is maintaining five different departments. Providing common computers to all departments will not provide justification to their requirements as each department will have certain different uses of computers.

As it is the main branch and most of the operations of this organization are completed at this branch so second router is used for backup purpose. A server is also placed in this branch and it can justify the server requirements of this organization. The common printer placed on this branch can be used by all the users and it shows its shared resource nature. The use of multi- port switches is done for understanding the future growth of Priority Advertising organization.

The layout of network for Toowoomba office is also developed. This layout of this office shows the use of one router which is further connected to a multi-port switch. The required computer systems for each department are connected to it. There is common printer which can be used by al the departments working in this branch and it can be shared among all users. The wireless tablets are also used in layout plan of this office. The WAP providing wireless connectivity is also implemented for this branch. The required working capabilities in both offices of Priority Advertising can be archived with help of this network layout. The managers of this Priority Advertising organization can understand the logical implementation in easy way. The implementation of network services, server and security on internal network will provide confidence and reliability on proposed network while the implementation of SAAS and AAAS from cloud through internet will justify the application nd software requirements of this organization.

The networking proposal to Priority Advertising organization is a detailed task which requires logical model implementation and IP allocation. The server will maintain the static address and all other connected devices can be managed with dynamic addresses. The effective sub-netting for the IP implementation in new network layout of Priority Advertising will provide the effective control on set connections and communication. Thinking towards the vulnerabilities of both type of network for their implemented costly resources and most important stored files shows the effective nature of this organization. The chances of occurring vulnerabilities are more with implementation of wired network. The use of effective IP can resolve the issues of possible vulnerabilities. The use of private IP can enhance the security level for implemented devices unique address. It acts as the local IP and both static and dynamic IP can be used by Priority Advertising based on their security requirements. The use of private IP for employees systems will not allow them to share the resources with any external user. The privacy, protection and security is improved by private IP, thus, use of private IP is recommended for Priority Advertising organization.

Project proposal

The requirement of new network for the Priority Advertising can be understood with the supplied interview. The main goals of network consistency can be archived by this implementation. This new implementation will provide connectivity in both offices and shared resources can be implemented. The star methodology will be implemented for developing this network design. The complete implementation of this new network will require a time frame of 60 days as we have to develop the physical network in two different cities. This evaluation will lead to resource sharing based technical solution and it will also enhance the communication level for this organization. The improved security to resources and their important files can also be obtained. This implementation needs different devices which have shared nature and some static devices will also be required.

The cost of each item is already specified in above. This complete implementation will lead to a total budget of $20000 to this priority organization. It is not a small cost but making connectivity of two offices in different cities will make requirement of this budget. This network layout is proposed by considering the future requirements up to 10 years for this Priority Advertising organization. It will bring new heights and success to this organization. The organizational connectivity, security and reputation in front of their clients will also be improved with this new network layout. This network layout is a complete solution for the network requirements of Priority Advertising organization and new success level with required security and effective handling of resources can be obtained. The security considerations to Priority advertising can also be effectively implemented.
