Wuthering Heights, a Novel by Emily Bronte

As part of our Wuthering Heights project, we discussed the plot and theme of the story, We went through the main parts of the story including the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and the resolution, Before getting into this we should have added a brief summary of the story to fully put together the pieces of this story as a whole. We should have also touched more on what the main conflict of the story was and not just go through a brief explanation of what each part of the plot was During our presentation we only elaborated upon one textual example and should have gave more evidence for each aspect of the plots Our presentation showed some critical thinking in how each part of the plot had its significance in building up and resolving the story, with main points explained in the book that shaped the story In the section where we presented our theme, more quotes could have be given, instead of only one per theme.

More textual evidence would make our arguments and ideas for proving what the theme is more convincing.

An analysis between Catherine, Edgar, and Heathcliff should have been described to show a bigger picture of the destructiveness of love in this book Also in our description of theme of the supernatural, we should have found more examples and quotes than just Mr. Lockwood’s encounter with Catherine Linton‘s ghost, We should have come more prepared with other materials, for example note cards, We should have also given a more engaging and entertaining presentation for the audience to further understand and not just be reading off of our slidest Overall 1 think that we were able to get the general point across of what the plot and main themes were but, we could have done a better job of giving more examples and textual evidence to help the audience fully understand the true meaning of this book.
