My summer was a Harry Potter movie, Although it wasn’t always filled with tests of strength or courage, or intense battles, it was amusing even when it was slow moving. My summer was like a Harry Potter movre because of my lazy days, day Journeys, and my out-of-state adventures To begin with, my lazy days were like the beginning of a Harry Potter movie. On these days, I mainly went to friends houses and watched Netflix. On other days, I would stay at home and watch TV.
or be forced to do chores such as doing the dishes. or vacuuming the entire house. Sometimes. I would even accompany my mom when she would go to Target or Fred Meyer. Following this, my one-day journey began. like the middle of a Harry Potter movie. The day before the Fourth of July, my and a few friends went to someone‘s house for their pool. We spent the next two hours doing divrng competitions, Jumping off of the dIVIng board, and swimming around.
Afterwards, we went to Emerald Downs and watched the colorful and incredibly loud fireworks. My brother even brought his bright green laser pointer that he got in Florida that my dad used to point at things. in which a large group of little kids would chase around until the fireworks started. Finally. my summer got more exciting, like the ending of a Harry Potter movie. In July, my mom, my best friend and I drove to Idaho and spent a few days there.
One of the days, my friend and I went to Silverwood Theme Park and spent most of the hot day in the cool water park, going in the wave pool with extreme waves, and the twisty water slides. About a week later.
I flew down to northern California to visit my aunt. uncle and second cousin. On Saturday I was there, we took an hour long ferry ride to San Francisco. Once we got there, we went to Pierre 39, walked around, and went to lunch at a Boba Gump restaurant. Then, we walked through Italy town, China town, and to Union Square to go shopping. Then we had to hurry and take a taxi back to the ferry to make it in time. To conclude, that’s how my summer was a Harry Potter movie. The further into the summer I got. the more interesting it became. Thanks to the lazy days. one day adventures. and the out of state experiences, this summer was the best summer ever.
