The tools that play in achieving my goals are commitment and dedication. Keeping track of my progress is very important in achieving my goals. I may need a little support to accomplish my goals by asking someone I trust. My regular goal checks to see the path, I’m taking to accomplish my goals is reasonable. I must make sure I have more clarity after my goals been outlined and to make changes and modifications if needed. Staying focus is what I need to do with on working move forward. I will need to take the time to think about where I am going. This can help me keep motivated. Reaching my goals, I need to be consistent when I have a process that can be easy to keep going. As life changes and so will my goal, so to keep my goals I will need to modify my plan to fit current companies. The way for me to think positive is by giving me the authority to reach success. If I think negative, I may damage my entire goal process, so positive thinking can get me through the most challenging parts of reaching my goals. Taking the time to celebrate my success for every goal can help build my confidence and commitment and it will make it easier for me to keep pushing to reach my big future goals.
I learned about myself through the assessments is focusing on a few personal development categories such as personal skills, personal growth, and personal power that can create habits for personal improvement. These steps can help me set a self-improvement plan, which is a life long task that will require me to constantly adapt and grow.
I promised to not to walk away because this is what is needed to succeed in college by giving up some of my time spent on leisure activities and working, I will give up some time spent with my friends and families. This is how I will help myself by staying motivated and find a good reason to do some tasks and analyze them. Some ideas and a good reason can be a feeling personal gain of accomplishment, a step closer to your bigger goal. Make it fun by finding ways to make any task interesting and fun to do. Changing my approach and don’t give up when something doesn’t feel right, so I will take a moment and look for a different approach for the task. Recognize my progress by splitting the process into smaller tasks. Walden will help me get there, Walden University colleges and schools provide a collaborative, supportive learning environment to help me achieve my learning, career, and social change goals. I will be part of positive change, listening carefully about the needs of others, embraced difference, be inclusive, be creative, be understanding others and networking.
How I will become part of the Walden Community. My mentor would have to be my department manager, Rebecca Davis, she is truly my mentor and she is someone I look up to. She is a single mother raising three kids and she is a Nurse Practioner. Rebecca is a strong and smart, independent person who is someone who finished school and a person many people should look up to, especially if they have the same goals she had when she was in school. My mentor is someone that doesn’t mind all the questions I need to ask. Rebecca is willing to help me on which path is not good to take. Rebecca is someone who I am very proud to call my mentor.
Visual Representation. Thinking of donut holes will motivate and keep focus. The reason the donut holes is so lovable. They are easy to eat and before you know it, you have eaten a dozen of them. This is how goals should be too. Make sure you break down that goal into bite-sized, consumable goals. This way you will feel like you are making progress in your journey and you will also feel a sense of accomplishment when you complete the smaller goals. A feeling of progress and achievement is a beautiful combination.
