This snowstorm lasted for three days from March 11 to March 14 destroying the cities in the zone. These several days were a nightmare with contaminating snow and snow conditions for the east provinces.

Next, another catastrophic blizzard in 1972 struck Iran. This blizzard was the longest, uncontrollable blizzard ever lasting a solid one week Between Feb, 3 and Feb, 9, 3 to 8 meters(10-26 ft) of snow buried villages and cities of Iran.
