Electrical Energy
Recall and use the equations:
P = IV and E = IVt.
You might need to know these two equations for the exam.
The first one is:
P = IV (Unit: Watts)
P is power, I is Electric Current (measured in Amps), and V is Potential difference (Voltage, measured in Volts). Units for power is Watts. This is also known as Joule's Law.
The second one is:
E = IVt (Units: Joules)
E = Energy
I = Electric Current
t = time (sec)"
