Hello and Welcome To Ella’s Science Fair Research Paper!!!!! This background research paper is about how dogs could have a dominant paw.

In this paper, you will learn about dogs, how they use their paws, and if they tend to use their left or right paw the most. Some say most female dogs are mostly right-pawed, while male dogs are mostly left-pawed. Ella will try to answer why people say that in this presentation. For this Science Fair project mine is about dogs’ dominant paws, so, here are a bunch of facts about dogs!!! The first Awesome fact Ella found is, that a dog’s whiskers are used as sensing devices. Another is that a puppy reaches his/her full size between twelve and twenty-four months. Did you know that dogs can be trained to detect cancer and other diseases in humans?! The Border Collie, Poodle, and the Golden Retriever are considered the smartest dog breeds in the world.

Smaller dog breeds mature faster than larger dog breeds! Dogs can be taught to count and solve simple math problems. Just like human fingerprints, no dogs’ have the same nose print. Dogs can learn over one thousand words. If a dog’s tail is wagging in a “ helicopter” motion, that means that the dog is happy and playful. Puppies grow to half their body weight in the first four to five months.

More than one in three United States of America families owns a dog. Did you know that dogs sweat through the pads of their paws???
