Did We Really Land On The Moon? Do you think we landed on the moon in 1969? NASA launched the Apollo 11 on a mission to land on the moon. We made a moon mission in order to beat Russia to the moon. They went to the moon and collected rock samples and brought them back to earth. So NASA thought the mission was a complete success.
But, there are many speculations about the moon landing. There are many ways to disprove NASA but very few to prove them.
The moon landing was a hoax and here are many reasons to prove it. We supposedly landed on the moon on July 20, 1969 at 10:56pm eastern daylight time. Neil Armstrong said his famous words, “That’s one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind” (Apollo 11). The landing sight was named tranquility. They landed on a relatively flat surface. Once they landed on the surface they were to build a small science lab to collect data from the noon surface.
NASA launched the mission to beat the Russian to the moon. The mission took eight days to complete. After they landed “As a precautionary measure, the astronauts were quarantined for 14 days” (Microsoft Encarta 2001).
They landed safely in the Pacific Ocean. “The launch was the most watched launch in the world. There were journalist from 56 countries right there to watch the launch”(Venne 54). The Crew was Neil Armstrong. Edwin Aldrin Jr., and Michael Collins flew the Columbia and Eagle. After serving for many years for NASA Armstrong retired and than became a teacher Bennett 2 at the university of Cincinnati.
After he retired from teaching he became the vice chairman to investigate the explosion of the challenger. There are many reasons to believe the moon landing was phony. The moon is said to have radiation enough to kill a man. You would have to wear a six-foot thick lead suit if you were on a planet with no atmosphere. NASA response to that is, “You only have that amount of radiation if you were exposed to that for a long period of time” (Moon-Hoax 1).
David Percy said, “The amount of radiation on the moon is no grater than that of an old x-ray machine in airports* (Moon-Hoax 1). Another example is there is no crater from the LEM. The LEM weighs 35,000 pounds on earth however; it weighs 6,000 pound on the moon because of the one-sixth gravity. NASA response to that was, “The blast from the lunar module removed the top few centimeters of dust but was not strong enough to dig a crater” (Moon-Hoax 2). The temperature on the moon surface is 250F to -230F. In that temperature the film would crack in the cold, and in the heat it would melt. NASA response to that is “There are three form of heat transfer, conduction, convection, and radiation. Only radiation can take place in a vacuum and since there is no atmosphere on the moon there is no vacuum” (Moon-Hoax 3) IN one of the pictures from the mission it shows the moon but there are no stars in the sky. From the moon there should be a clear view of the stars because of no atmosphere.
NASA’s response to it is, “If you look at the negative of the photo you can faintly see the outline of the stars” (Moon-Hoax 4). Another reason not to see the stars is in the photo you cannot take a picture of stars unless it is complete darkness. Another problem is that NASA put an eleven-foot by four-foot vehicle inside a five-foot by four-foot space. NASA claimed that the vehicle was disassembled and reassembled on the moon and than put back n the spacecraft. Here are some reasons why we didn’t land on the moon and NASA didn’t have a response to them. Neil Armstrong set up the camera 30 ft away from the LEM but there was no footprints leading to the camera. In another photo of Aldrin there is a glare on his helmet but the sun is behind him. In one photo the shadow of Aldrin Is facing a different direction of Armstrong’s shadow.
In another photo the crosshair is behind an object not in front of the object. The cross hair is on the lens so why is it behind the object. Behind the LEM there should be complete darkness because o no sunlight getting there. In a photo you can still see behind the LEM when it should be completely dark. There are few reason to believe that the Apollo 11 landed on the moon at that time period. NASA has many unexplained defect about the moon landing. There are some they claim to know the answer, however, those scientists were paid to come up with solutions to the problems explained in the essay. You can believe what you want about the moon landing in 1969 but, this paper will make you think whether or not it happened. The moon landing was a hoax and there are the reasons to prove it.
