Shantaram Book Review

Topics: Books

The following sample essay on Shantaram Book Review tells about brotherhood of bandits.

The main character (a man with many names, let’s call it Lean) – escapes from prison and finds himself in India. Next – miracles all the time have to remind myself that the book is almost autobiographical: a village in the Indian hinterland, the slums of Bombay, the mafia, the war in Afghanistan. Murder, torture in prisons, lepers, beggars and drug addicts. From the description of the period of stay in Afghanistan, I just gut-wrenching, and through these chapters, I barely broke, not in war nothing good.

But this is only one side of the coin – the other. Nice and open people, kindness, which can be met in prison, brotherhood of bandits and the honor and pride of the Afghan guerrillas. Very good humor and a fascinating description of the manners and characters of national characteristics, holidays, image Hindu life.

The author makes us look at all possible dirt of humanity on the other hand, and even find there a lot of good.

The book is written well and easy style, at least in some aspects and quite poor vocabulary, repetitive descriptions. The plot captivates and captures – at the beginning of breath, exhale only at the end, at a loss – what to read next, after this

I strongly advise?. I hope to get the same pleasure

I’m waiting for the next book of the trilogy and the movie with Dzh.Deppom.
