Orphanage System: Community Concern

One of very fibre in which our society is sewn and forged from is the orphanage system, having produced countless national heroes. Not only that, it is the germination of a childhood seed that I have nurtured to humble fruition. This seed cummulated from the early days of experience as a basic education teacher, where subsconciously, it was found that i prefer the company of children, next in line was ten years ago when the dream of an orphanage home capitulated in the city of lagos, Nigeria in the year 2010.

This subject matter is an unusual one for it is not always mentioned and given the people attention in society overall. One legal definition used in the United States is a minor bereft through ‘death or disappearance of, abandonment or desertion by, or separation or loss from, both parents’. In the common use, an orphan does not have any surviving parent to care for them.

The successful running of an orphanage home does not not hinges on material things like food stuffs and co,but in The betterment of life of the orphaned children.

Most orphans risk powerful cumulative and often negative effects as a result of parents’ death, thus becoming vulnerable and predisposed to physical and psychological risks. Most children lost hope when it became clear that their parents were sick, they also felt sad and helpless. This orphaned children are hereby exposed to emotional and behavioural problems due to the early exposition to abuse, exploitation, neglect, lack of love and care of parents, therefore they are also more likely to be emotionally needy, insecure, and poor.

In order to achieve this proposal, that deals mainly in the improvement of behavioural and psychological health of the orphanage children. To improve on the processes attained in the interview, like; schooling and religious building.building others in processing are new buildings. Other things that will mainly help in the appropriate nurturing in this children are; apart from educating them appropriately, is creation of a platform that will help them with foster parents,and to straighten behavioural and psychological issues. being the perfect situation for an orphan, others following slinky are meeting tangible needs ofadoptive parents, and lastly the main corpse of this proposal is the sponsoring of a child which will help in the child in many ways.

A lot of work is still needed to be done for this kids, new buildings, new funding. This is really important because orphans in orphanages are given a safe environment in which to grow, given somewhere to sleep, regular food and schooling, and visit their families often. Most important though, is that children in orphanages are given a stable lifestyle that they would not find at home. At one point the future of this nation will and can lay in the hands of one of this kids, and then we will know that, it is in good hands, and generally knowing it is the moral thing to do.
