INTRODUCTION

The objective of this project is to research and analyze why Louis Vuitton has survived on the market with very expensive prices, therefore our question asked was HOW HAS LOUIS VUITTON SURVIVED ON THE MARKET WITH OVERLY EXPENSIVE PRICES?

For the creation and growth of this project we?ll apply the documental, explicatory, descriptive and longitudinal investigation.

For the analysis of this information we will elaborate a S.W.O.T. analysis, the S.T.E.E.P.L.E. analysis and the fishbone diagram so we can create and write a conclusion to create an action plan.

One of the main objectives in this internal assessment business project is to know why and how has Louis Vuitton survived on an overly exclusive and tight market, yet be so successful, that’s the main reason why we formed said question, we believe that is fundamental to know what happened at the beginning, what happened at the ?booming? of the company and why it hasn’t stopped being a well-known brand around the globe since, we were also curious about what was LV impact on international markets, knowing the LV logo is a sign of wealth and high status.

We choose to investigate the impact on the international markets over 10 years, because, we?ve seen the interest of people to buy LV products in the span of 10 years, although LV since the beginning was seen as products of high class luxury.

METHODOLOGY EMPLOYED

To exactly know what LV impact on international markets was, we used three data collection techniques: the interviewing technique, using available information.

The interviewing technique, in this case, has a little twist, because we didn’t exactly have an interview personally with any CEO or manager of LV, what we used were written and recorded interviews, surprisingly, the interviews had a lot of answers related to our questions coming from people in higher ranges within LV, so we didn’t miss out a lot if we personally talked with a manager or CEO.

Using available information was more simple yet very effective and useful, doubts we had, were cleared once we started to search the internet, we found people?s opinion, and more serious investigation, statistics, information and viewpoints, the viewpoints were made by important business people, such as Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Michael Burke.
