This skill is called critical thinking. “ The U.S. Department of Labor has recently identified critical thinking as a raw material for some vital workplace skills, including problem-solving and decision-making (Lynette Reed).” Critical thinking is a great skill to have in this day in age. When you apply for a job in the business industry or if you are starting your own business then critical thinking is a major asset u need to have, it is a must have in this industry. “According to a recent Wall Street Journal article, an analysis by Indeed.com found that mentions for critical thinking in job postings have doubled since 2009. Critical thinking is mostly decision making and making smart choices. “Critical thinking is a vital soft skill for an organization’s success (Lynette Reed).” Critical thinking is one way to have a successful business, in some cases the road to success when looking for a job within the industry.
A text message, phone call, and an email are all types of what? Communication, which is a important skill and the the skill that most people are terrible at. People say the key to a good relationship is business, same with a business, the key to a great business is communication. In business environment you are most likely going to work with a group of people on one project. That group of people are going to need to communicate with each other to get the project finished in an orderly fashion. Communication skills are some of the most important skills you would need in the work office. KPI is a good way like using data and things like that keep track of employees and etc, it could be used for lots of industries like manufacturing, IT, or even healthcare. KPI is very useful in today’s business work it is a very helpful tool. Most people think that KPI is and can only be used for one things but it can’t it has a variety of uses.
Money, money, money, money. You need to learn how to save money money in other words money management. Money management is another very important skill it is important to for you to save your money and keep track of your spending in your business and your savings within your business. “ Tracking your individual income and expenses along with your personal balance sheet (what you own minus what you owe) will eliminate much of the stress about your personal finances. Additionally, keeping close track of your Company’s income and expenses and your Company’s balance sheet will cut down on your stress at the office (Matthew Garrett).” This is very important because it can impact your work life and your personal life. Money management is very important because without any more how can your business work? “ Money makes the world go around.” Money also keeps your business working and producing product for the consumers. “ But if you hold yourself accountable by recording everything, then you will not overspend or overdraw your account (Dr.Carol Morgan).” Hold yourself accountable for your actions when it comes to your mistakes or your problems.

Communication, Social Media, Critical Thinking, and KPI are some of the most important business skills. Some of these skills like communication is heavily denied in the business world. Most people think they can communicate with the best of them and they don’t know how to work with a team and keep track of movement and have great listening skills when someone is presenting information. Another must have skill is social media it is very important because that’s were 75 percent of your customers come from. Today in the 21st century there are a lot of skills that are important but these are highly the most important and these are some of the most important skills.
