Ninety percent of Americans do not believe in the effects of Global Warming.
They believe it is a hoax because the weather where they live has not changed, those who live in the midwest still get snow. Global warming is the gradual increase of the overall temperature of the earth’s atmosphere attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants, However, Global warming may just all be a hoax the weather in California couldn’t be better, but scientists claim wildfires are happening more often because of Global Warming. First, if we do not take action there will be no life for the animals because their habitats will be destroyed. Second, Increasing carbon dioxide (CO2) levels also promote the growth of plants that release airborne allergens these changes to outdoor air quality and aeroallergens also affect indoor air quality as both pollutants and aeroallergens infiltrate homes, schools, and other buildings. Finally, Due to higher carbon dioxide (CO2) levels and poor air quality it can negatively affect the human respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
Higher pollen concentrations and longer pollen seasons can increase allergic sensitization and asthma episodes and thereby limit productivity at work and school. People may not notice the effect of Global warming currently and may say it does not exist or has no effect on the Earth, but there is little to no evidence to suggest that Global Warming is unreal. It may not show Sevier results, but according to Stephen Hawking, “Humans have about 100 years left on earth” because of all the damage we do burning fossil fuels, and many other renewable energy sources.
We are killing our planet Global Warming is real and could cost us the Earth. Think of the effects of Global Warming, it causes the earth to rise in temperature making it inhabitable for certain species. It especially poses a threat to many species of animals such as Turtles, Birds, and seals. We as humans are causing the Earth to rise in temperature and cause our ecosystem to collapse. According to NASA, “Climate-warming trends over the past century are extremely likely due to human activities” we as humans are contributing to our demise. We as Humans all want to live on the earth in 100 years Global Warming is a huge problem people choose to ignore because our water and air are at an all-time high of being clean. Global Warming is what’s causing our ecosystems to rot slowly we our selves cannot live on the Earth due to Global Warming .”. The drought causes animal populations to diminish due to Global Warming. In In the state of California over the past 10 years, we have been experiencing drought due to Global Warming California has been experiencing less rain than usual. It took the wettest winter in a century in California’s northern Sierra Nevada mountains to rescue the state from the 3-year prolonged dry spell. It has been drastically changing the states weather making summers hotter and winters colder than usual. Global Warming is a topic Americans choose to call gibberish or a myth, In, In reality, the world has been changing around them but they fail to notice because it has not affected them in any kind of drastic way. According to California Attorney General Xavier Becerra’s office “California’s dams and water storage facilities are built to handle the snow melt as it happened in the past. Higher temperatures are now causing the snowpack to melt earlier and all at once. Earlier and larger releases of water could overwhelm California’s water storage facilities, creating a risk of floods and water shortages.” The Attorney General of the state of California realizes how Global warming has affected and changed the way things would have happened years ago. Would Global Warming not be true if sea levels are rising by 8 inches every century? The reason Americans avoid Global Warming is because they refuse to acknowledge something that has been happening since the dawn of the Earth. No one likes stepping out of their comfort zone but Global Warming is forcing people to do so. For example, fossil fuels are a great detriment to the environment, the use of these types of fuels should be reduced. To help reduce the carbon footprint across the globe. Dana Nuccitelli a writer for The Guardian newspaper shines a light on how our own government refuses to acknowledge Global warming at all “Trump administration refuses to consider that 97% of climate scientists could be right even though smart climate policies could save tens of trillions of dollars” America itself refuses to change its ways even though it will save them “trillions of dollars” and help the Earth for the better. Katharine Hayhoe an atmospheric scientist and professor of political science at Texas Tech University claims “our government is ignoring reality and sticking to their resilient ways” many scientists in the same field as Katharine Hayhoe feels the same that our government should take the responsibility and acknowledge. What they are doing is wrong and they need to change in order to better the lives of humans and overall better the earth. Global Warming can cause effects on mental health and well-being are integral parts of the overall climate-related human health impacts. Mental health consequences of climate change range from minimal stress and distress symptoms to clinical disorders, such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and suicidality.“An intensely traumatic event will have a substantial effect on the mental health of many survivors,” said psychologist and researcher Carl F. Weems, an associate professor at the University of New Orleans. “The more severe and intense your exposure to traumatic experiences during a disaster, the more likely that you will have severe mental health symptoms. If you watch someone die or your house floods, you tend to have more intense effects.” Weather related disasters are likely to be a traumatic event the closer you are to the tragedy the greater toll on your mental health.
