The Theme of the movie is a man who actually has two identities one of them is Thomas Anderson he is a normal guy he goes to work he lives in an average apartment pays his taxes and eats his breakfast.

In his other life he is neo a computer hacker who has broken almost any computer crime that there’s a law against, he spent few years searching for an answer – “What is the Matrix?” One day a message comes up in his computer saying “wake up neo” and “Follow the white rabbit” then he follows a girl with a tattoo of a white rabbit and they go to a party where he meets Trinity that tells him that his in danger.

At this point you’re very confused you don’t know why is he in danger, what is the matrix, and did the man on his computer knew all of the things he said.

Eventually they release him from the world and tell him what is the matrix – the matrix is the world we are in it is everything once the world was very proud of his invention an Al (Artificial Intelligence) Robot they were so smart that they started rebelling the people and it became a war between war and machine the machines destroyed every human city except one “Zion” now there are several

Hover-crafts with people that are trying to get into the matrix and free “The One” The One is a legendary man who could enter and exit the matrix whenever he wanted, he could change whatever he wanted in the matrix after his death the oracle prophesized his return.

The main characters are Morpheus- a wise strong man he spent almost his entire life searching for The One so he can help them destroy the matrix and get more men to fight the machines and liberate the world from machine control.

Trinity- A strong woman she came to the real world when she was little, the oracle told her that she will fall in love and the person that she will love will be The One.

The Agents – The agents were created by the machines they are in the matrix they are very strong they try to prevent Morpheus and the rest to release people to the real world. Though they are strong their powers are still based on a world with rules. But every man that has faced an agent has died.

This is a very philosophical movie it shows an aspect of life that this world isn’t real it’s just a brilliant computer program that is designed to cover our eyes from the truth which is the real world. It’s as if we live in an allusion. There is only one true human city left, Zion. I think that city is called Zion because in the bible, Zion was the land of freedom.

This is a very complex movie and I’m not quite sure I’ve figured it all out but I have learned that in life there are no shortcuts and no cheats you need to leave your life as hard as it is. This is the real world you don’t just survive without doing anything to survive you need a good job to get a good job you need to get good education to get good education you need to work hard, life isn’t fair the more effort you make the more you prosperous.

I didn’t understand the whole philosophy of the movie. The Wachowski brothers wrote this movie together they like to put philosophy in they’re movies such as “The Bound” and “assassins”.

They have put their regular philosophical meditations on mythology and perceptions of reality in the internet age into a action movie that would use the most modern developments of special effects combined with breathtaking martial arts, the brothers teamed with artists Geof Darrow and Steve Skrose to create an amazing action packed, philosophical, successful movie. I also didn’t understand what can kill the agents when they shoot them they just disappear and come back later, and how can they “take over peoples bodies, and what happens to that man that his body has been adopted

What I liked best about the movie was the special visual effects or VFX. John Gaeta is the VFX supervisor, he makes all the explosions slow motions and every special thing there is in the movie (pictures in this page). Almost every explosion he makes is computer generated. One of his latest technologies is what that is seen in this movie where neo dodges the agents bullets. The Wachowski brothers called this special thing “BulletTime” he placed a few cameras in a special studio they are special dynamic cameras each one take one picture only and while neo is falling (dodging the bullets) the computer completes the pictures that the dynamic cameras take Creating an allusion that he really is dodging the bullets. There were a lot of special effects: The BulletTime, the machines, floating in air, walking on walls and a lot of explosions most of the special effects were created by computers.

The soundtrack didn’t appear in the movie just in the end in the titles but the music that was played during the movie was very affective it added much interest and quality to the film. Every film without music doesn’t look good for example “The Bell-Air witch project” had a nice idea but there was no music during the film so just watching them run whisper and talk isn’t interesting. In this movie the music fits the situation when they fight there is a funky hard music. And when someone dies there is a sad music with violins.

There was a special use of color the projecting color was green it added to the atmosphere it has some mystery in it yet it shows action and danger the green color is shown at the beginning of the movie where neo is in he’s room, when the agents capture him, when they escape the police and much more.

My favorite character in the movie is Morpheus because he has dedicated his entire life searching for “The One” and I admire this quality of persistence. He’s smart and powerful and he also believes that neo is “The One” although when he came to the oracle she said he wasn’t “The One”. After he went to see the oracle they got trapped in a building with agents and police and Morpheus sacrificed his life to save neo.

After he was captured the agents tried to break him to give them the access code to Zion and with the access code to omnes como senden blanditi the access code to Zion they could send the machines to Zion and devastate it and destroy humanilor anyone which makes him kind. But Morpheus didn’t crack he survived a long time under drugs and pressure which makes him strong not just physically but also mentally which makes him my favorite character.

I chose this movie because this is my all-time favorite movie it has great action-chases, kung fu fighting, guns, explosions, VFX and great content. This movie isn’t just about fighting it has a complicated plot and philosophy ever since the movie there has been a lot of articles about the matrix-what’s so bad with living in the matrix?, the matrix as the metaphysics and the brave new world of the matrix. I also chose to present this movie because I’ve seen it for a lot of times and I remember it very well. But I think that the main reason is the special effects that really added a lot to this movie

The scene I choose is after Morpheus has been kidnapped and neo and trinity rescued him, the only way to leave the matrix is through a phone that the hover-craft has connected to so they come to the phone Morpheus leaves first and trinity leaves second and just after trinity leaves an agent comes and shoots the phone so neo has two choices run or fight and he fights the agent this is a very important scene because here neo begins to believe that he is the one.

The agent almost defeats him he takes him to the train railroad and just before the train comes he throws the agent into the ceiling and the agent gets ran over by the train but he doesn’t die.

I think that every one should watch this movie at least once because it is a great movie it has action, amazing VFX, philosophy, and of course a little love story. I think the “BulletTime” is a must see part it’s using the latest technology and it’s simply amazing, the fighting is not everything in this movie but it’s a very important part and adds quality to the film. It’s an interesting and unique movie the wachowski brothers came up with a brilliant idea. You should also see the movie because of the great actors especially Keanu Reaves who is giving a great performance because of his fighting he had been training very hard to learn all of the combat styles and because of his emotion expressing and calibrating with the crew.

In conclusion the matrix is a magnificent unforgettable movie one of the most successful movies ever made.
