Where everything is perfectwhere the sun seems to shine even on the darkest days, thats the place I call home. “Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in” by Robert Frostt I was born into a broken family, with a roof over my head but having two parents that weren’t on the same page. The atmosphere I lived in I would call just a house, It was a beautiful large home on the edge of a water front, But the things inside the house didn’t make it feel like my definition of home, Until I was four years old my mom got remarried and we finally lived in what I call a home This Lime around what I liked about my home is that I had two understanding parents that where always there to give me comfort, happiness and tranquility.
I would walk to my backyard and escape into a whole new world with my imagination As the years went by every corner of my home had a special memory.
As I grew older I realized that the environment I lived in couldn’t get bettert I had it all, but most importantly for the first time in my life I had a complete family, A family is the most important part of what makes a home, home. I was surrounded with people that showed me the aspects of living a life full of all different types of values As when I lived in my first house growing up I had absolutely everything.
From the newest toys, largest tv screens and a large pooL But I didn’t have anyone to share it with because my family was constantly fighting, Until my mom made the decision to leave my father and later we moved into what I called home with my step-father, Always had the attention I wanted to experience the real feeling of a home, When you live in a home you can feel it. The environment changes the feeling of being accepted for who you are in your own environment that is home.
Home doesn’t always refer to the place where you where born and raised, It is a place where you have people that love and care for you no matter the circumstance. Growing up in a busy city having my family together all at the same time was the most special moment of all. Home is the one that leaves that forever mark where you grow and being to experience new types of feelings I had a corner in my room which was the one that I would go to when I was upset over a boy or a break up during my mid- dle school age I can still look across the room onto that corner and see myself as a younger child crying about some stupid boy. The hole I had broken into the wall when I was six years old be- causeI was skating down the hall way and into my room, my family and I always get a good laugh from that story. All those experiences are part of growing up in a home. Home is the place that I longed to be when I was 13 years»old in the 7th grade and the clock on the wall seemed like it was broken, Waiting to arrive to a hot plate of food and sit on our long glass dinner table.
Each piece of furniture has its own story of how they came to be A home has so many different memories the years we celebrate thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years eve, I remember my family and I would stay up hours cooking and adorning our house full of holiday spirit Having my family help put up our Christmas tree while my cousins and I run around and sing to christmas songs was the best feeling of coming home during the winter break. Home the place where it all happens When having your family over is what make the at- mosphere the most special place in the world. Where our memories are stored in pictures and paint chips on the wallt The place where I danced in the living room after I got the present I wanted during Christmas. Such a special place the one I call home. Home where the past is al- ways present and the future is always neart Where millions of memories are treasured by families and friends gathered around together giving the definition of home.
