For a long time, many minorities and outsiders did not have equal access or treatment as everyone else, Through various movements, these people sought out justice for themselves. The Civil Rights Movement in particular was a very important movement in our nation’s history Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.
