Magic in My Life

Magic has a certain function in society. There is no way to explain where or how Magic became, although magic can deceive the minds of many, few understand its effect of misdirection of the human mind.

I studied and researched some facts and what i learned is that the first accounts of magic were found to be recorded around 1700 B.C. I am not sure of the correct year but with further research I have come to a conclusion that the earliest I have ever seen magic go back to is: The year 2700 B.

C. During this time it was that I found out that there was something called a repute of the first known performance of conjuring effects. There was even a Dedi that was found to be in the ancient Egypt during that time. It is said that this magician has done a lot of effects. Magic can often lead into what we call folklore as well. With all attempts to manipulate the world through the supernatural is universal and ancient, we can imagine the idea of those practices was prehistoric, with a point of origin that was well out of the reach of any record.

It is all about the belief of magic and believing that it can happen, the knowledge of knowing how to use it. There are two forms of magic Dark Magic and Light Magic. Knowing that anything that has a name exist. Each form of Magic is rooted in different cultures and have rich histories of that finds its expression in sorcery, witchcraft, science, and other demonic activities.

India and Tibet are where Magic first happen as far as I can research. Third world countries are very different from today’s society. Magic sometimes over there is called and referred to as “Medicine” or having a voodoo priest who becomes the Medicine Man. People’s fascination with magic stretches from present day all the way back to ancient Egypt. Magic, and whether it does exists, is in the eye of the beholder. Some people have a strong belief in magic and say that it is all around us. Every person is going to have a different view on magic because it means something different to each being.

Magic is a word with many definitions. Magic is an elusive and disputed idea, and there are complex connections between fictional uses of magical tropes. Magic is always something I have wanted to study. There’s always been fascinating mysteries behind the subject of Magic. I have been interested in this subject for as long as I can remember. Even in the present day. I have studied it since I was like Twelve. Magic is so much more than just fairy tales. It’s a way of believing. It becomes a way of life when you become accustomed to it. Magic, becomes a life within you. Magic is something that I have always wanted to study. Trying to define what Magic is and putting it on paper, writing and essay on it, that is as complicated as it sounds. I came to this school to learn about Magic and that’s what I intend to do. I am here because I want to be taught. I know I don’t have a perfect essay paper, but that is the fact of it, I am learning..I have never thought it was possible to find a place where i thought that i would belong with my belief of Magic.

Magic is my hobby. I want to learn how to make Book Of Shadows, How to create the spells, How to do everything including the learning, by doing this paper it is also part of the learning process for me. Using my own words, I have told you a little about the research and history of Magic. This subject is still very complex because there is so many research areas that it covers, folklore, myths, legends anything that is possibly linked to Magic. Some say it is the work of fiction, others say it is entertainment.

In conclusion, I would like to add that I am really looking forwards to learning everything I possibly can and so much more.

The thing about all of this is that the more you study and learn, the more you open up to your ways and beliefs. If you want a good beginner book check out Scott Cunningham and Raymond Buckland. These two are the most amazing authors i have ever had the experience of reading from. As I have said before there are so many reasons, Beliefs and religions that Magic is hard to define. It is not just something that you can pick up and learn. As I have said, from what I have gathered so far, this is my understanding of Magic and what it is. Now, I am here to learn. Learning is what I am going to do. After all, Learning brings the knowledge and with that comes the power. Open your mind and believe.
