An unexpected visitor

It all started when Mr and Mrs Jones won a particular normal day in Flushvill. Flushvill was a very plain boring place. When Mr and Mrs Jones would go off to work and leave their daughter Emily to go to school. Emily didn’t mind it though, by now she was used to being alone. Since she was three years old, her parents always put work first. Mrs Jones is a real estate agent that has never failed to sell a house.

Mr Jones on the other hand, works at a bank and counts money. But their daughter Emily is a middle school student that is very adventurous. Emily attends a school called Flushvill Middle school. She likes it there but she wished she had more friends and that her parents could watch her play her sports, or give her a hug before they left to go to work.

Chapter1: odd but true

Monday the 14th of october:

It was another ordinary day when Mr and Mrs Jones set off to go to work and left their only daughter to walk to school.

Once it was time to go to school, Emily started to head off to Flushvill Middle school. Whilst she was walking, she saw a figure running off though a hole through an oak fence. “Hay wait!” she yelled.

As Emily caught up to the mysterious creature, it jumped into what looked like a luscious green bush! “Is that a… bush? Knowone has seen a bush in fifteen years,” Emily told herself.

“Oh drat, I’m late for school!” Emily said and ran off to school.

She decided to come check out the bush after school. Once Emily got to school she saw that her crush Manolo was hanging out with the C.S.P.G: cool stylish popular girls.

Manolo is a boy in Emily’s science and math class. Monolo has light blue eyes and shoulder length hair that is usually tied up into a bun. Manolo usually hung out with Pablo and Jack. these are the think they’re cool but they’re not boys. Pablo is a boy that loves skateboarding with his mates (Jack and Manolo). Jack loves everything Pablo likes and more. Jack has black hair and green eyes and Pablo has light brown hair with hazel eyes. Emily admires Manolo, but the question is… does Manolo think the same?

Chapter2: The C.S.P.Gs

Emily always wanted to be a C.S.P.G, maybe then Manolo would notice her. But someone already did… is was Britney. The leader of the C.S.P.G group. Britney is one of those girls that acts one way in front of teachers and one way in front of students. Britney is a super spoilt girl that can get whatever she wants because her parents earn a lot and I mean a lot of money. Her father is the mayor of Flushvill, and her mother is a model that stars in the magazine ‘sheik girl’. Britny’s BFFs: Emma and Jahmilla are the exact same as Britney. All the C.S.P.Gs love dancing and are in the talent show, dancing to the song ‘Shake it sassy girl’. After math class, everyone headed straight to the caffettiera where the students had their lunch. In Emily’s lunch box today she had a sushi roll, an apple and two macarons. When Emily saw that Manolo and his friends were sitting with the C.S.P.Gs, Emily knew if she went and talked to the group they might include her in the C.S.P.G group. So Emily decided to go and talk to them. “Hi I’m EEmily. She said in a shy voice. Mind if I sit with you?” she asked

“Yeah sure, sit there,” Britney said in a bossy voice.

As Emily sat down, Britney peered into her lunch and said, “Eww, looks like miss Emily packed meat into her sushi today! Didn’t you know that I am a vegetarian? Seriously! You can leave now, bye, bye!” Britney said. As soon as she said that, Emily through her sushi into the bin and ran off crying. “Brit why did you say that?” Manolo said to Britney.

At the end of the day, everyone was picked up by their parents, except for Emily. “Hey! Emily! Wait up,” Manolo said.

“Oh. Hey. What’s up?” Emily replied.

“I just wanted to ask if you,” – Manolo was cut off.

“Hi everyone. You all are invited to my birthday party that will be held at the pool in town square Tomorrow,” Britney said.

“Come on Manolo we need to get to soccer training!” Pablo yelled out to Manolo.

And with that Emily left to go check out the bush again. When she arrived at the location of the bush, it wasn’t there. “I don’t understand. It was right here! I guess I was just seeing things.”

As Emily turned to walk away, she heard an unfamiliar voice talking to her. “Helo. you must be Emily,” the voice said.

“How do know my name? And what are you?”

“I am a fairy. I come from the fairy land to come and seek the one that sees the bush of peace,” the land of fairies,”

“First of all what? Oh and I didn’t catch your name.”

“Ok so, years ago the human world and the fairy world were at war. Now that we have separated both worlds, the fairies new queen ask me to seek the one who sees the bush of peace. So that the humans and the fairies can make peace. Oh and my name is Elvena.”

Chapter3 Britney’s party

When Emily and Elvena walked back to Emily’s house, Emily’s parents weren’t home so Elvena snuck into the house with Emily. Once they got to Emily’s room, they heard Emily’s parents so Elvena quickly folded her wings down and put on one of Emily’s dresses. “Honey we’re home!” Emily’s mum called out. When her mum arrived at Emily’s room, Emily’s mum was surprised to see Elvena there. “How’s this?” Emily’s mum added.

“Err, um.. This is Elvena. She is a… um, exchange student from spain. Oh I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you. You were just too busy working.”

“Ok Elena can stay.”

While Emily was explaining what school is to Elvena, Emily’s parents were discussing the history of fairies and how Elvena looks a lot like one, “But Davy what if the fairy’s are planning an attack?” Calypso said. (Emily’s Mum)

“Mmm mabie,” Davy replied (Emily’s Dad).

Tuesday the 15th of October:

“I’m so excited for my first day at school!” Elvena said.

“Trust me it’s not fun. Oh, I nearly forgot! Today is a girl named Britny’s party!” Emily said.

“Who’s Britny?” “Britny is one of the most popular girls in my year. And she doesn’t fancy me!” Emily said.

After Emily’s parents left to go to work, Emily and Elvena walked to school. “Oh this is taking so boring! Can’t you just fly?” Elvena said.

“No,” replied Emily.

Once the girls got to school, everyone was surprised to see a new student in the school.
