Football at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)

Before we go to my reaction paper about the game that I’ve watched, let’s define first the meaning of SCUAA and Football.November 21- 28 when the 29th season of State Colleges and Universities- National Capital Region (SCUAA- NCR) was held. SCUAA according to Wikepedia is an inter-collegiate sports association in the Philippines, the union of the seven state colleges and universities in Metro Manila. The SCUAA organizes the athletic program of different state colleges and universities. The seven school that include in this event in National Capital Region (NCR) are the; Philippine Normal University (PNU), Technological University of the Philippines (TUP), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Rizal Technological University (RTU), Eugolio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST), Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA), Marikina Polytechnic College (MPC).

And the host for this seasons event is none other than the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). All the game that included in this event are badminton, football, chess, sepak takraw, volleyball, track and field, etc.

, this game will be held at different campuses that participate in this event. The representative will go to different universities to compete. We know that going to different school is the way to meet the other student from that school. This event also leads us to knowing different personalities and characteristics of every people that will meet in different campuses. SCUAA with their motto “moving ahead towards sports excellence” means that studies and academic work is not just the priority of each of us, but also being physically fit and easily adopt different sports that are engage in.
