My culture identifies me as an African American but my Dad is white, and my Mom is black. My culture can be seen in book on television, food, language, art, literature, religion, family structure, the community, music, art, the community, and dance could be used as a symbolic level. Symbolic, because belief plays a crucial role in our day-to-day exists through prayer, song, worship and praise. When I’m glad, I put trust in my faith, the same go as when I’m depressed, for I see things will become better as done before.
There are unlike punishments within the humankind, but there is one thing that I feel that has help my cultural identity is the music.
How have the many forms of media portrayed you? All most in a bad way they describe us as low class and not human. Black men are seen as uneducated, deadbeat, lazy rude and on drugs. We do something noble it all most never recognized and when we do crime or anything of that the no matter what it on the first headline on your news channel.
Black girls are promiscuous, and the number one thing is that they have babies at a young age and never finished high school and go on public assistance from the government to get welfare checks. People all was said black girl goes missing and it always on Fox Cnn Youtube and Nancy Grace etc. it might be about one segment for about five minutes then the story go away.
I could go on for a lifetime I know lots of young black man that are educated and doing something with their lives. I know a few who are not but that of any race of people. The media help the minds to think a certain way for people, and people do what the media tell them they have no will power.
