Mr. S would often start picturing the words he was saying in his head and turning them into images. He would then begin to start talking about these images which would make it hard for the other person to understand what he was talking about. The text states “As Mr. S spoke, the words would create images in his mind that were often unrelated to what he was saying. Distracting his train of thought, he would then begin to talk about these images.” This states that the way Mr. S memorized things hurt him when trying to stay on topic.

Last but not least, Mr. S had to go to court for a “minor charge” and before he went he was picturing what it might look like on the inside. Once he actually showed up and got inside it was nothing like he was expecting it to be so he had a hard time focusing during the trail. The text states “Before going to the courthouse, he vividly pictured the scene that he expected to see. What he actually saw when he arrived in court , however, was not at all what he had imagined.” This states that the court room wasn’t what he had imagined it to be so he had a hard time focusing on the trial and actually lost the case because of it.
