We know theirs many diseases in the world. Every disease has a connection between one another. For example, obesity and diabetes type two. Obesity and diabetes type two are diseases that are very common in the world now a days. These two disease have a strong correlation within each other. In these two disease there is a lot of features you can find between them. Just how being obese can lead to having diabetes type two.
What is obesity?
Obesity is a condition that is associated with having an excess body fat, defined by genetic and environmental factors that is difficult to control when dieting. One factor that contributes this is the BMI (Body Mass Index). To be classified as an obese person is your BMI has to be in the range of 30 percent or more. To check your BMI there is a specific tool to used. Around ? of kids from the time they are born until they are 17 year old are obese or become obese. Obesity can come from eating too much, genetic, physically inactive, and etc. Obesity not only ends up giving you type two diabetes but other unhealthy riks as well. Some of those unhealthy risks can be heart attack, not being able to do social activities, sleep apnea, and other types of cancer.
What causes obesity?
There are many sources that causes obesity as in behavior wise, the environment, genetic, overeating, and etc. Obesity is not just a cosmetic consideration; it is harmful to ones health. In the United States, roughly 112,000 deaths per year are directly related to obesity, and most of these deaths are in patients with a BMI over 30. Genetics has a big impact when a baby is being made in the mothers womb. If both parents are obese or even one parent there is a higher chance that the child will most likely be obese as well with the way the parents eating habits are. In the normal range you are supposed to consume 2,100 calories throughout the entire day. If you consume more than what you are desired too you will end up gaining weight. Weight gain comes from eating high fat: fast food, fried food, and food that is high in sugar. Another way you can gain weight is by consuming too much carbs which includes sugar, starch, and fiber. These increase the glucose level in your blood that stimulates the release of insulin through the pancreas. Insulin induces the growth of the fat tissue which makes one gain weight. A person who eats four or five small plates a day is more likely to eat less than a person who eats three times a day but three plate is over flooded with food. The reason why is because smaller meals makes the insulin level normal but larger meals increases the level of insulin. Meaning the fat cells stores the calories as fat and doesnt releases them immediately to be used as energy fuel.The most significant way to keep the insulin level normal is by replacing all processed food or carbohydrates with more healthy choices like vegetables, fruits, and food that contains more fiber and protein. The FA stated that before the insulin was the cause of weight gain due to the growth of the fat tissue that caused the people to gain. Being physically active also plays a huge role in your life. When someone is physically inactive they have a higher chance of being obese than someone who is active on a daily basis.The NHANES (National Health and Nutrition examination Survey) shows us that being physically active has a strong connection with gaining weight in both genders. Medicine is also another way towards weight gain. This could be good idea for people that are underweight but not for the ones that arent. Hormones is a cause for being obese as well. A study shows binge eating on a daily basis releases dopamine making the person feel good in their brain. There are people who cannot control themself from overeating or drinking which may end up having to require a professional help towards this problem. At the market healthy food is more expensive than everything else. That is why people gain weight because they buy the unhealthy kind due to being more cheaper than the vegetables or fruit since those are the most expensive food. Not only that but the unhealthy gets more advertisement than the healthy ones. Also even the healthy kind can be the worse for you. Yes, it may say on the package 100% fiber or less than 100 calories: but surely thats not quite right because it all depends on the ingredients they use. Maybe it says less than 100 but in the ingredients it says, high fructose corn syrup and we all know that is very unhealthy. It can also be in the area they live, they might not have access to healthy food like in other places because they either live far from a supermarket, large grocery store or no transportation. This is known as the Food Desert. We always have the habit of making a new year resolution about losing weight but somehow we never go through with it. We should set goals for our self that are more realistic because we always try to be like everyone else but at the end of the day we dont live like them. Everyone has there different features or different lifestyles. That is why according to my pediatrician she said, Dont set goals that you know you wont accomplish them. In fact make goals when you know you are ready to.

A disease that bequeath towards obesity is hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is when the thyroid glands are responsible for the processing hormones to fail the produce of a sufficient amount of hormones. The problem with this is because most females either the age of 60 or more comes with a lot of symptoms that can be painful or very irritating and this can come from obesity that can bring joint pain, infertility, and heart disease. Hypothyroidism has an affect on people in an awfully different ways. The reason for this is because the hormones that produces thyroid are the most responsible of the actions that could decisively process the nutrients which is going through our food.
Social Issue is one of the many endings causes of obesity there is. Lack of money to purchase healthy foods or lack of safe places to walk or exercise can increase the risk of obesity. In the female world the African and the Hispanics women are the ones to lean towards weight gain than Asians and Caucasian womens. While there is a small difference in the mens rather than the women. Childhood, teen, and early adulthood weight can impact the progression of the obesity during adulthood. Jerry R. Balentine said when you start to gain weight to the point you are becoming overweight in the 20s then that can be the cause of obesity at the age 35 and over. Being considered as overweight has a lot of misleading causes because if you are overweight at the age of childhood or teenage years then you have a higher chance of being obese in your adulthood. Another way for a woman to gain weight is during pregnancy or menopause with the using of oral contraceptives but this doesnt really cause obesity due to low dose of estrogen pills that is available.
How is body fat measured?
Body fat is measured with a tool called body mass indicator or for short BMI. BMI is a tool that helps the physicians and researchers to be able to study obesity. Body mass indicator can be located using a humans weight and height in a formula consisting (BMI= persons weight/height (m^2)). A problem that the body mass indicator has it doesnt provide the percentage of the persons body fat. So there isnt a precise measurement for people who are bodybuilders, athletes or even pregnant woman. Contrary to the weight for the height table the BMI does give a pretty good percentage of the body fat between the age of 19-70. In the BMI measurement table a healthy weight is between the percentage of 19-25 from the age of 20+ Having a BMI between the percentage of 25-29.9 you are being considered as pre-obese meaning you are close to becoming obese unless you do something unless. To be considered obese your body fat must be between the percentage of 30-34.99% and this is known as obese 1. Between the numbers of 35-39.99 you are classified as obese 2 and 40% or more you are known as obese 3.
