Martin Luther King is a vital figure and he practiced what he preached. To this day people still recognize him for freedom and the peace he has brought to our country.

People hearing or reading this could feel unsettled. Not finding a direction on where to start. If they should keep worrying more about themselves or start to worry and care about others. “What is in it for me?”, “How does it help me?” is that what people ask themselves every time of their life. It’s that easy to put yourself first before others, but now it’s time to have a “we” mentality.

Work with others and help them if they need any help. Sometimes we have to put the “me” mentality aside for a while and realize what is going on with our community. How could we make it better for ourselves and others?. How can we fight together for what we believe in? Martin Luther King put himself in danger for the sake of others to get their rights.
