The Terrible Disease of Thirteen Hundred Years

In the thirteen hundreds, there were cases of people dying of an unknown disease so they called the plague the bubonic plague this was one of 3 plagues to come. The bubonic plague was the worst disease in the thirteen hundreds. It was the worst because it had hit so suddenly that they had no time to prepare for it. This meant that they couldn’t get the medicine on time and they would most likely die because of this problem. They also didn’t have great doctors back then and the doctors would give false information or the wrong treatment option for this disease.

So this brings us to the next problem. They didn’t have anywhere to put the infected bodies after the person would die.

They would get the disease if they touched the body and if they were bit by something. So the main spread of the disease was when a person would die the people touched the bodies and get infected and then that person would die. The people back then didn’t have the right equipment to be doing this stuff. They didn’t have any hazmat suites or any gear they would just wear their everyday clothing. The next problem is probably the worst. They had to be careful of what happened to the bodies because if the body fell in their drinking water the whole town can get infected from just one person. They also needed to burn the bodies just so it wouldn’t spread the disease.

If you were homeless around this time you would have died from this disease because it traveled through rats and fleas. So if you were walking down the street and a rat bit you could possibly get this disease. It’s that easy to have gotten this disease a simple walk and the next thing you know you have swollen lymph in your body it also could bring others down with you.

When you go around you touch people by shaking their hands and hugging them sometimes. This could cause you to spread the disease further because you touch someone who hasn’t had this disease so they get infected and you don’t immediately get the symptoms so the symptoms appear over time. So they could be spreading it without noticing until a day later. This means that while you are getting treated for your problems theirs is just beginning so you could have been treated but your friends could just be getting these symptoms and they could be suffering just because you gave them a high five. You could prevent spreading the disease by immediately going to the doctor or having regular doctor checkups. This could save your life and someone else’s. So by going to the doctor they could have given you something to subsidize the illness.

This could stop i from spreading but it can never go away as the bubonic plague didn’t have an antidote and still doesn’t today. Today we have medicine that helps prevent the bubonic plague but it doesn’t stop the bubonic plague from when you already had it. You should always check up with your doctor especially if you know that others are dying around your town and city and country. So if you have the bubonic plague then you could die from this disease and it is painful. The symptoms are swollen lymph and sometimes coughing blood. But this may hurt because it’s your body and you are not supposed to be doing that kind of stuff. So when you cough blood it’s not supposed to be calmful it’s harmful it can only be prevented if you go to your plague doctor.
