The Philosophy of Success and Higher Education

Succeeding in today’s society, requires individuals to be more prepared, have a higher education, and preparation for a career path. If people do not go to school for a higher education or degree, they are less likely to be successful. However, for individuals to be effective they must have a professor that is willing to teach, wants students to learn, and has a passion for the subject. My philosophy of a preeminent professor is someone who is engaged and wants me to be the best I can in my profession With my interests in the medical field, a strong professor that can relate to us as students will make the class interesting and the students will be more engaged in learning about their future career.

Nursing is something I haven’t always been passionate about, but tutoring young children over the past few years has helped me realize how important it is to help people and be the best tutor I can be to that kid.

Keeping the children interested and staying positive will make he or she want to learn more.

Now that I am interested in nursing, I can see that I can apply this in my future nursing career. As for a nursing instructor or professor, they should also have that same mind set. There are many professors that will stand in the front of the room and lecture evew day from the time we enter the room until the time class is over. Most students learn more effectively if they are interacting and doing more hands»on.

My philosophy on learning, as stated above, is to be engaged, hands»on, and have a positive attitude. The dual-credit classes I am taking are better preparing me for my future. It is my responsibility to stay on top of my grades, it is not the professors job to make sure I am passing the class, The professor is there to teach me a higher education, not to worry about whether I pass or fail. It is my jobs as a student to maintain.

A’s in my higher education classes. Since third grade teachers have prepared us for the STAAR tests that are taken at the end of each year. Teachers wanted us to learn what we needed for the test, and that was their goal. Now that I am taking college classes the professors are there to teach us about the subject, not prepare us for standardized tests. The college classes are to give us a higher education, meaning teach us what we will need to know to be successful in the future, It is our responsibility to take what we learn in our higher education classes and use that knowledge so that we are mentally and physically prepared for our career path. Higher education classes are great, as long as the students attitudes are positive, professors have a passion for the subject, and individuals are willing to work as hard as possible.
