Hillary Clinton has contributed greatly to the US politics. As the first lady of the US, she advocated for healthcare reform and gender equality. Under the Obama administration, she was able to organize an international sanctions regime and diplomatic isolations against Iran as a way of controlling their nuclear program. Barbara Mikulski is the longest-serving woman in the Congress. She pushed for highway funding and environmental protection. She also supported shelters for domestic violence victims and fought in advancing the women rights, Michelle Obama was the first African-American First Lady.
