Questionnaire Survey On Autonomic Web Service Composition

ABSTRACT

Web service composition is a key technology for creating value-added services by integrating available services. Nevertheless, it is one of the most challenging problems of the last decade in a distributed and dynamic environment. Indeed in order to be more dynamic and less manual, most composition processes tend to be complex and non-optimal. In this Paper we have tried to identify the relationship between execution methods of autonomic cloud services with the help of a questionnaire survey, a structured questionnaire in this direction was prepared with 46 items and 200 respondents analyzed the results using IBM SPSS Tool.

It has been found there exists a strong relationship between the execution methods

INTRODUCTION

Web service composition includes joining and organizing a lot of services with the purpose of accomplishing functionalities that can’t be acknowledged through existing services. It is generally perceived, at the web-based biological community that so as to be practical and productive a composition approach needs to actualize dynamic and mechanized procedures.

Shockingly, the fast expansion of web services makes the origination of such a methodology a genuine test. To be sure while making composition increasingly powerful and less manual, issues of dependability, versatility, flexibility and effectiveness rise. To manage those issues, strong and ideal engineering is required to keep the composition procedure applicable.

REVIEW OF LITERATURE

Amid the most recent decades, web services composition has been a functioning territory of innovative work tries for application coordination and interoperation. One critical element that recognizes this territory of research is that web service composition is a multifaceted issue.

Without a doubt, the way toward making a composition blueprint so as to fulfill a progression of objectives set by a requester is an extremely mind-boggling and multifaceted issue, since, one needs to manage a wide range of issues on the double. Most importantly, it includes looking in a regularly developing worldwide service store so as to discover coordinating services that may add to the total fulfillment of the client’s prerequisites. Accepting that these services have been framed, one needs to effectively join them, settling any contentions and irregularities between them, since, they unquestionably will be made by various individuals utilizing diverse execution dialects and frameworks.

Since irregularities may happen at times, it might be important to anticipate such occasions, to guarantee that the framework will run accurately. At long last, even in the wake of having conquered these issues, we must have the capacity to adjust to the dynamic attributes of service-based frameworks with services going disconnected, new services getting to be on the web, and existing services changing their qualities. In view of service composition writing, various methodologies have been displayed to tackle web service composition issues yet the vast majority of them center just around one part of the multifaceted composition process. In addition, by surveying and investigating the proposed methodologies in this examination territory, we see that composition could be performed with various techniques and innovations, as indicated by the manner in which the issue is seen and the perspective on which the methodology centers.

The composition as arranging: Composition can be viewed as an arranging issue which implies disintegrating the client’s ask for service into different errands and gathering them in an arrangement to fulfill the client’s ask. There are two arranging strategies connected to tackle the composition issue: work process-based techniques and computerized reasoning arranging techniques, the last class of strategies incorporate essentially: arranging with control calculations, arranging as satisfiability calculations, chart based arranging calculations, rationale based arranging calculations, and state-space based arranging calculations. The composition as execution: Some composition approaches center around executing and checking the composite service.

This procedure includes authority with member services suppliers, summoning services, passing information among services, and checking the presence and nature of services of the composition plan. There are four strategies to screen a dynamic execution: undertaking-based, objective-based, detail based and occasion-driven. Another vital impediment identified with the existent web service composition approaches is the absence of composition strategies. Since, the greater part of web service composition works manages a particular sub-issue of the composition procedure, more often than not the proposed arrangements comprise of dependably utilizing a few advancements with no adjustment. So as to be tackled, the composition issue is anticipated on some different fields as opposed to being imagined comprehensively by transposing consistently the innovations having a place with different fields in the web service world and making subject work synergistically.

CONCLUSION

Web Service Composition is one of the technologies in Service Oriented Architecture which significantly increases the flexibility and reusability of developing service-oriented system. One of the major problems which occur in web service composition is the difficulties of maintaining the existing running web service composition solutions due to the changes of business requirements, deployment environment, and other dynamic factors. To identify the relationship between execution methods of autonomic cloud services with the help of a questionnaire survey, a structured questionnaire in this direction was prepared with 46 items and 200 respondents analyzed the results using IBM SPSS Tool. It has been found there exists a strong relationship between the execution methods
