The Go-giver, by Bob burg and John David Mann, is about how to be a good salesman and shows the five steps to being one. The entire plot is about Joe, who is a young professional who would go the extra mile for success. Joe is very determined, but lately he feels like his hard work isn’t paying off much. After a disappointing quarter, Joe seeks advice from the chairman, also known as Pindar.

Pindar is a successful salesman. Pindar told Joe that the secret to being a great salesman is giving. He told Joe that he will mentor him for a week, and teach him the 5 laws of stratospheric success, but Joe has to agree to his conditions, more like condition. His condition is that Joe tries to or, apply each law to his life before the next time they meet. relieved, Joe agrees. He then starts his learning journey by meeting with 5 go-givers, friends of Pindar. Every time he met with a go-giver, he learned one-by-one the 5 laws of stratospheric success. Pindar takes Joe to his first go-giver, his name is Ernesto. Ernesto started off by selling hot dogs off a hotdog cart, now Ernesto owns one of the most Cafes. He teaches Joe that giving more than you get is key to success, and also the 1st law.The 1st law is the law of value: “Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.”

The second go-givers name is Nicole, Nicole Martin. She owned one of the most successful educational software companies in the country, but she started off as a plain old grade school teacher. She got so big because the parents loved her teaching style, and her students loved her.
