Lorem Nathaniel nomen meum, et ego hodie loqui de Satanism, male maxime religionum semper, translated from latin one of the languages most used by Hollywood to depict Satanists means Hi my name is Nathaniel, and today I will be talking about Satanism, one of the most misinterpreted religions of all times. When most people think about Satanism they think about Latin speaking devil worshipers who sacrifice things from goats to babies. While this may have been true a few hundred years ago, it is now no longer like that and the Modern Church of Satanism tries to make sure that everyone knows that.See, the current Satanic church is more of a form of Atheism or agnosticism. From their very own website, the Modern Satanic Church, says “The most important virtue in Satanism is the enjoyment of life. You are God.
This is your world and so everyone and everything in it has been placed here for your own enjoyment.” Anton Szandor LaVey the founder of the Satanic Church, while respected by the community his work is often seen as false. One of the main points of the church is to change the ways of old, they frequently test their old traditions and philosophies, and if it is not found to be useful, or doesn’t serve a purpose, they are thrown out to make way for more functional teachings. One of the most important things that the church says, is that no matter what, A Satanist needs no church. They say “A person need only declare themselves as Satan and strive to be a god by living a Satanic lifestyle. Yet we must not deny our underlying nature as a social animal.
To satisfy this need, the Modern Church of Satan created a community where like-minded individuals can congregate. It is incredibly fulfilling to be associated with others who thirst for knowledge and success, who are compelled to better themselves and who knowingly squeeze every moment out of life, living each day as if it may be their last.

The most important line in Hamletis, “The play’s the thing, wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the king.” (II, ii, 617).In the play, the issue of a clear conscience forms a key motif. When the conscience of the characters appears, it does so as a result of some action; as in the case of the aforementioned line, which follows Hamlet’s conversation with the player. This line is of particular significance because it ties action and its effect on the conscience of the characters. The nature of Hamlet is conscience, and action plays an important role in creating the development of the plot.No where is this development seen clearer than with Hamlet. The Prince’s development comes as a result of the self-evaluation of the actions that have taken place, and the ensuing actions that he takes are a clear result of this self-evaluation.So, in essence, the actions cause him to think of his conscience and then act upon these feelings.Hamlet’s several soliloquies are a testament to this method.Hisfirst soliloquy, following a conversation with his recently wed mother and uncle reflect the uneasiness he feels. He feels betrayed. “O, most wicked speed, to post, with such dexterity to incestuous sheets. . . but break my heart, for I must hold my tounge.” (I, ii, 156-159). Hamlet’s conscience tells him what is wrong-in this case, the hasty marriage-but he is ambivalent as to how to approach it; before he meets the ghost, silence is his method. When Hamlet meets his father’s ghost however, he feels sure of himself, and knows what he must do.As a result of the dialogue with the ghost, Hamlet’s conscience makes him feel that revenge is the best method to deal with the problems that face him.The consciences of Hamlet, and to a lesser extent, Claudius, affect their decisions in the play.

I myself am in love with Shakespeare’s works. From Henry V to Much Ado About Nothing, I find his stories entertaining as well as fascinating.I realize that all of his works aren’t original, but the way he presents them is just breathtaking. That is, if she were presentable enough.Come, now…I’m not shallow, but I have my Although Hamlet is not my all-time favorite Shakespearean work, it ranks extremely high on my list. The themes present in the story are easily understandable, as well as related to.
